The article presents comments of various executives to discuss if BhS's move into furniture with standalone stores that would affect businessmen. According to Richard Bates, Arlington Interiors co-director, Leeds, BhS moving into the old Allders site does not bother him too much at all. They sell more high end furniture and so are likely to be in a slightly different market than BhS, although for other retailers it may have an effect. According to Bill Perratt, Managing Director of Kai Kristens, it is hard to say either way. The site that BhS has bought is in a growing shopping outlet and Allders had been there from the start of it six or seven years ago.
