ABSTRACT
The article reports that Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP has boosted its commitment to pro bono and charity work in London, England by picking disabled children's charity Kids as its British charity partner. The firm supported Kids in organising a recent gala dinner at the Royal Courts of Justice on February 2, 2005. The event saw 400 guests drinking vodka by candlelight in the courts' crypt. The dinner raised £326,000 for the charity. The work that Weil is doing with Kids is part of the firm's global commitment to pro bono activity.
