This article discusses various issues related to the Iraq War. The author suggests that with the Iraqi elections in January 2005, the U.S. has begun the last stage of its engagement there: the transition to withdrawal. He says that while people have asked about procedures and strategy, the impact of the war on Iraqis has not been regarded.
