ABSTRACT
The article reports that U.S. President George W. Bush's Advisory Panel on Federal Tax Reform will meet for the second time on Thursday to discuss perspectives on tax reform and problems presented by complexity in the tax system. The panel held it first meeting on February 16. Witnesses include Federal Reserve Board chairman Alan Greenspan, Internal Revenue Service Commissioner Mark W. Everson, Nina E. Olson the National Taxpayer Advocate, and economist and tax expert Joel B. Slemrod.
