Kohl's Revs Its Engines

The article reports that Kohl's Department Stores Inc. will step up introductions of new product, create more consistent color and trend statements across the store and bring in fashion items more frequently this year. The moderate retailer also plans to launch a new tag line this week, the foundation upon which it will build its new brand positioning: "Expect Great Things." Kohl's will focus this year on merchandise that appeals to updated and contemporary customers. Kohl's has the exclusive on apparel and by the end of 2006 will become the sole U.S. distributor of all Candies merchandise.
