ABSTRACT
This article reports that existing home sales fell 0.1% in January to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 6.80 million units, the National Association of Realtors. The January sales rate follows December's downwardly revised level of 6.81 million. With the January, the home sales report now includes condominium and co-op home sales. As a result, the figure reported for December--6.69 million--has been revised to 6.81 million when including condos and co-ops and 5.94 million when excluding the condos and co-ops.
