ABSTRACT
The article reports developments on electronic commerce in the U.S. A study by Jupiter Communications has found that 74 percent of respondents were satisfied with their on-line holiday shopping experience but the level is 14 percent lower than was found by an identical study that was conducted in July. A recent study of Ipsos-ASI has reported that 40 percent of survey respondents saw an on-line banner ad and remembered the ad compared to 41 percent of survey respondents who saw a 30-second commercial on television.
