ABSTRACT
The article reports that John Greenlee has left Citibank Corp.'s credit enhancement group, where he was a director. Greenlee joined Citibank from the Bank of New York in spring 2004, at a time when Citibank was becoming more active in the credit enhancement sector. Last year the firm moved up to fourth place from number 17 at the end of 2003. In 2003, the firm provided letters of credit on $267 million through 13 issues. Over the last year, Citibank has boosted its presence in the sector by partnering its letters of credit with deals underwritten by Citigroup Global Markets Inc.
