ABSTRACT
Reports on the creation cartoon-style CG robots by UVPhactory's (UVPH) animation unit with the help of the Softimage XSI plug-in tools. Reaction from UVPH senior animator, Jake Slutsky, on the particular advantage of the newest version of Softimage XSI and several XSI plug-in tools; Comments from Slutsky on the importance of the new Softimage 4.0 organizational tool, the Material Library, in organizing elements.
