ABSTRACT
This article features the Polaris 2 Total Radio Solution chip set from RF Micro Devices. The chip set comprises a transceiver and a power-amplifier module. It supports up to four frequency bands and performs all the radio functions needed to build a GSM, GPRS, and EDGE cellular handset.
