Voice over Internet protocol IC market boosted by cell-phone sales

This article reports on the findings of In-Stat Inc. concerning the rapid growth of the voice over Internet protocol (VoIP) integrated circuit market. According to In-Stat, the main driver for the growth will be the integration of VoIP functionality with many "dual-mode" cellular/VoIP handsets.
