Presents the results of a study on the use of a sclerosing solution on patients with portal hypertension and esophageal varices via a transhepatic, angiographic approach. Procedure for transhepatic catherization and obliteration of the coronary vein; Information on the sclerotherapeutic approach to variceal bleeding; Application of inducing localized intravascular coagulation in the treatment of the variceal bleeding.
