ABSTRACT
This article presents an analysis of the economy of Great Britain. Thirty years ago Great Britain was the sick man of Europe. Today they are the most successful macro-economy in the developed world, enjoying low inflation, low interest rates and low, virtually no, unemployment. Nothing is more important for all British people as a nation than to maintain the stability of the economy. The reason for this is because they have low unemployment and they don not have enough skilled people. People earn more money, they have more disposable income which stimulates the economy, everybody pays more tax, they get more schools and hospitals and the GDP goes up.
