The article focuses on the author's experience of a furniture retail store--ScS in England. According to the author, this store started off his shopping experience the way all shops should. The sliding doors had not even had time to close before he was welcomed into the store, asked what he was looking for and swiftly passed on to a sales assistant. Each member of staff was smartly dressed. Unfortunately the store was a little cluttered and old-fashioned, and going further into the shop gave him a claustrophobic feeling.
