ABSTRACT
The article presents information on two lawsuits related to employee grievances. The article reports that in one of the case Great Britain Employment Appeal Tribunal (EAT) concluded that where a labour-intensive economic entity was the subject of a claim under TUPE regulations, a tribunal was obliged to consider whether any of the employees had been transferred and, if not, whether the reason was to avoid TUPE. In another case, the EAT highlighted a number of interesting factors that it thought should have been taken into account by the tribunal when awarding a suitable amount of compensation for injury to feelings in a sexual harassment case.
