ABSTRACT
The article focuses on Barbara Hall, creator and executive producer of the Emmy-nominated drama "Joan of Arcadia" at CBS Broadcasting Inc. who has signed a two-year, seven-figure overall development deal with Paramount Network Television. The deal gives CBS a first-look option at any new projects Hall develops through Paramount. She also will continue to serve as the showrunner of "Joan," which is produced by Sony Pictures TV and CBS Productions. Before launching "Joan" last season, Hall was the executive producer of CBS' Amy Brenneman-Tyne Daly drama "Judging Amy" and was a senior writer-producer on the eye network's medical drama "Chicago Hope."
