ABSTRACT
This article reports on the search for an advertising agency by Women.com Networks for its plan to launch a branding campaign as of March 1999. The company has narrowed its list of contenders to six shops: CKS Group Citron Haligman Bedecarre, DDB Needham Worldwide, Goldberg Moser O'Neill, Saatchi & Saatchi and Y&R Advertising. The branding push, which include television, radio, print and outdoor, comes as Women.com continues to position itself as the preeminent source of information for women searching the Web. The tagline running on the Women.com site and on some banners on the other sites is The smart way to get things done.
