ABSTRACT
This article reports that composer/producer Jeremy Adelman, formerly with the firm Music for Picture, New York, has partnered with independent representative Samanta Balassa to form Motive, a New York-based music/sound design house. During his tenure at the firm Music for Picture, Adelman's work as a composer headed the journal SHOOT's quarterly Top 10 Tracks chart, in August 2003 for Volkswagen's "Trailer" and in January 2004 for Volkswagen's "Rewire." The weekly series on Time Warner Cable's channel 35 in New York showcases performances by up-and-coming indie rock groups.
