ABSTRACT
Cites a study by Bayer Environmental Science investigating how a termiticide, directed remotely to a colony, can find its way to colony and kill it. Placement of eastern subterranean termite workers in soil containing concentrations of Premise Termite Elimination or active ingredient imidacloprid ranging from 100 parts per million (ppm) down to .1 ppm; Death of donor termites exposed to 10 ppm and 1 ppm; Potential of donors and recipients to display similar sym[toms of immobility and eventual death even though donors were exposed to Premise 24 hours before the recipients.
