Simkins partners mull split

This article reports that the partners at West End media and entertainment firm, the Simkins Partnership are considering a split later this year. A group of partners is understood to be planning to go it alone when the lease on the Whitfield Street office expires in December. The firm refused to comment on the negotiations at this early stage and it is unclear whether the Simkins name will continue after the division. The identity of the departing partners is also unclear, although they are likely to come predominantly from the general media side of the practice.
