ABSTRACT
This article reports that Bird & Bird has achieved a net partner gain after poaching partners from Linklaters and Simmons & Simmons but losing one to DLA. DLA's expansionist efforts continue with Bird & Bird partner Mark O'Conor joining the firm's IT group when be finishes his paternity leave. O'Conor provides a mix of public and private sector experience. Gerry Kamstra is Bird & Bird's second recent hire from Simmons, following the recruitment of telecoms partner Rhys Williams.
