ABSTRACT
This article informs that officials from the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority said they would "aggressively" pursue a $274 million toll revenue bond sale scheduled for next week in spite of a criminal investigation of the authority's board of directors. According to sources in Austin, the Travis County District Attorney recently began an investigation of the Austin-area authority. The investigation stems from complaints and e-mails from opponents of planned toll road construction by the CIRMA.
