ABSTRACT
The article reports that the board of directors of the Government Development Bank (GDB) of Puerto Rico yesterday approved William Lockwood as the bank's new president. This will be Lockwood's second stint with the GDB. Originally established in 1942, the GDB promotes economic development and acts as the financial adviser and fiscal agent for the government, public corporations and municipalities on all bond issues and short-term borrowing.
