ABSTRACT
The article reports on a homemade matching game that can help a child learn about machines. Materials include pictures of different large and small machines and appliances a child easily recognizes; a small basket or container; large sheets of paper, oak tag; Elmer's glue; markers; and crayons. Parents can cut out pictures of various machines found in different environments. At the end parents need to lay out all the cards and drawings, and then match the machines with where they belong.
