ABSTRACT
The article reports on health related problems faced by children in schools. Preschool classrooms can present problems for kids with allergies and asthma. Allergy and asthma symptoms account for many missed school days and unnecessary suffering at school, according to the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology. Dust mites in carpets and pillows, chalk dust, pet dander, pollen, mold, and food ingredients, can cause allergies in children. Parents should make sure the their child knows his triggers and how to ask his teacher for help when he has symptoms.
