ABSTRACT
This article presents information on several restaurants in Illinois. Keefer's Kaffe at West Kinzie St., is one of the restaurants. Sandwiches are assembled and salads are tossed behind the cafeteria counter at Keefer's Kaffe, just east of the namesake steakhouse. This is no place to wine and dine a client. The no-frills decor leaves me cold, and the plasma television is a turnoff. But the food has clean flavors and classy touches, perfect for lunch on the run. Another Stefani's Tuscany Cafe offers pasta sauces and minestrone come from a central kitchen that serves Phil Stefani's four upscale Tuscany restaurants, but everything else is made fresh daily at this two-room cafeteria/cafe
