ABSTRACT
This article presents information on Media Edge advertising agency. In 1997, Young and Rubicam consolidated all its media buying under Media Edge. In 1998, the company absorbed 600 staffers from Young and Rubicam Advertising and Wunderman. One of the company's more noteworthy successes was the creation of the AT&T Edge, a unit dedicated to its plum account that brings annual billings of more than 300 million dollars. Media Edge also picked up the 300 million dollar media business for Tricon, a PepsiCo spinoff that includes buying for Pizza Hut, Taco Bell and Kentucky Fried Chicken.
