ABSTRACT
This article presents information on MediaCom, an advertising firm formed by New York-based Grey Advertising. According to Alec Gerster, chairman of company, MediaCom is attracting clients and developing expertise in areas such as digital media and local, account-specific retail media separate from Grey Advertising. Gerster said that the company had its own identity, working with and without Grey clients for years and the company is making gains on their own. MediaCom also says it is making significant new investments in research, to give clients advanced insight into consumer behavior and for long-term brand development.
