ABSTRACT
This article focuses on the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) as a specialized agency of the U.N. By March 1952, the total membership of the World Meteorological Organization had been increased to seventy-five by the following ratifications of the World Meteorological Convention, Ceylon, Ecuador, Denmark, Haiti, Netherlands and Cuba. The Executive Committee of WMO held two meetings during the period under review, the first in Paris immediately following the first session of the World Meteorological Congress on April 30 and May 1, 1951 and the second in Lausanne from October 3-20, 1951.
