This article presents an interview with Ross Urwin, a contemporary, outdoor furniture and lighting buyer at Liberty. Urwin has always been interested in antiques and vintage clothing. At 16, he had an antique clothing stall in Kent selling 1920s-1950s clothing and home accessories. Most of his favourite design pieces are not made quickly, but hand-crafted and made with integrity and to last. His motivation is change. One never knows what is around the corner and if one is open to it, this keeps new and exciting things entering one's life.
