This article reports that having networks of offices in Europe provides many advantages out of which some are planned, and others are unforeseen. There is equally strong evidence to suggest that British manufacturers are not being entirely open in telling their customers. Selling product with the supposed cache of "British made" when manufactured in another country is not playing the game. What is irksome is when those British suppliers hide behind the "made in Britain" label, only admitting to sourcing abroad when challenged.
