ABSTRACT
This article reports that bedlinen and soft furnishings company Dorma is to increase its consumer marketing in an effort to boost sales after textile group Dawson international paid 10.4 million pound for the loss making firm. Mike Hartley, Dawson executive chairman said he was confident retailers would notice a difference within months. He is keen to keep the existing management and will retain its network of in-store concessions. Most of Dorma's products are already made outside Great Britain. Consumer advertising will be increased and new products available in more stores.
