Sofas stolen from Reid Furniture

This article reports that a truck carrying 23 sofas, worth thousands of pounds was stolen from outside Reid Furniture's flagship store in Glasgow last Wednesday on January 12. The white with red trim 40ft trailer, taken from Hillington Industrial Estate between 7.30 PM and 9.30 PM was later recovered, but the upholstery is still missing. But with an average sofa costing around 1,200 pounds, the total value of the theft is likely to be close to 28,000 pounds.
