The article presents several questions answered by the author about his work- life. He says that his first ever job was to hand out questionnaires on an airline owned by Court Line Ltd., flying between London, England and New York. His worst experience as a trainee was losing an application before the Master at the High Court, even though the other side was not present or represented. He says that his mentor or role model were a number of Stephenson Harwood partners, principally Peter Simpson, a corporate partner, who taught him to give commercial advice in a legal context.
