ABSTRACT
This article reports that Nuveen Investments Inc. named Cathryn Steeves as portfolio manager of two closed-end Florida municipal bond mutual funds and three Michigan funds totaling a combined $1.22 billion. The appointment nearly doubles the amount of closed-end fund assets Steeves oversees to $2.47 billion, while expanding the number of states for which she manages such funds to six. The other funds include the $335 million Nuveen Florida Quality income Municipal Fund, the $278 million Nuveen Michigan Quality Income Municipal Fund, the $175 million Nuveen Michigan Premium Income Municipal Fund and the $47 million Nuveen Michigan Dividend Advantage Municipal Fund.
