The article comments on furniture industry. What else can be higher on the industry's agenda this early in the year than the sales? One can't open a newspaper or switch on the TV without being bombarded by furniture adverts. Well, it matters for those spending a fortune on advertising and it's great for the industry as a whole to take advantage of the fever pitch of furniture sales, and subsequent advertising. But, only those with a slightly different message stood out in 2005. As always, it's about companies doing something that turns heads rather than following the crowd, whether it be adverts or design.
