ABSTRACT
This article reports that the Tulsa County, Oklahoma, Industrial Authority plans to sell $150 million of sales tax revenue bonds by March to finance construction of an 18,000-seat arena in downtown Tulsa. The sale will be the last portion of bonds authorized in the county's Vision 2025 capital improvement program, which is supported by a 0.6% sales tax voters approved in September 2003. John Piercey, a vice president with Capital West Securities Inc., the county's financial adviser, said the earlier bonds were not insured, but insurance will be considered for this issue.
