ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas that Robert Estrada, the chairman, president, and chief executive officer of Dallas--based Estrada Hinojosa & Co., has been elected to the bank's board of directors. Estrada will serve a three-year term ending December 31, 2007. In addition to the Fed post, he also serves as a regent for the University of Texas System and an executive committee member for the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce. The U.S. Congress founded the Federal Reserve Bank in 1913 to serve as the central bank for the U.S.
