ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the data released by the Economic Cycle Research Institute Inc., according to which, the U.S. future inflation gauge edged down to 117.9 in December 2004 from a downwardly revised level of 118.7 in November 2004. The gauge, which is designed to anticipate cyclical swings in the rate of inflation, was originally reported as 118.6 for November 2004.
