ABSTRACT
The article reports on the upgradation of Florida's general obligation rating by Moody's Investors Service Inc. Moody's Investors Service has upgraded Florida's general obligation rating to Aa1 from Aa2, affecting approximately US$11 billion in debt. Moody's also upgraded the state's certificates of participation to Aa3 from A1, and its facilities pool revenue bonds to Aa2 from A1.
