The article informs that City Council of Norman, Oklahoma, is expected to set an election for March 29, 2005 to ask voters for $32.7 million of general obligation borrowing, mostly to fund road projects. Bond proceeds would finance major street improvements, construction of an underpass at a railroad crossing, and the relocation of a fire station. City officials are seeking federal grants to help finance a portion of the major street improvement projects and the railroad crossing. It informs that bonds to fund those projects would not be sold until the matching federal money is received.
