ABSTRACT
The article informs that despite some firmer markets on the long-end and selling on the front end, municipal bonds remained little changed yesterday as participants braced for the key December non-farm payrolls report scheduled for release today. The employment report has the potential to dramatically change the interest rate outlook and is often followed by large price swings. Economists polled by IFR Bond-Data America forecast that the economy created 180,000 new jobs outside of the farm sector in December up from 112,000 in November.
