European Banks Tops in Tsunami Aid

This article reports on financial aids provided by different banks and other institutes for Tsunami tragedy. Frankfurt-based Deutsche Bank AG, parent of Deutsche Bank Americas, has made one of the most meaningful pledges, with a corporate commitment of $13.2 million. That's more than four times the commitment made by many of its European and American counterparts. The bank is also offering a matching gift program for U.S. employees to expedite gifts to the American Red Cross, Oxfam America and UNICEF.
