The article reports on the resignation of two top officials of Government Development Bank for Puerto Rico following the change of administration in the governor's office. Carlos M. Pineiro, executive vice president for financing, resigned his post effective last Friday along with bank president Antonio Faria-Soto, who also serves as the commonwealth's fiscal and financial adviser. Pineiro said the bank ended 2004 with about $9 billion in assets, the largest amount in its history. The bank also has about $2.3 billion in capital, and loan portfolio in excess of $4 billion.
