ABSTRACT
The article presents a first hand account of the feelings that the author experienced at the biennial convention of the Audio Engineering Society. He narrates that the San Francisco, California location itself was quite nice, as everything was right at hand. Even the talks and sessions, which tend to be incredibly dull, were somehow more lively this time. Even the talks and sessions, which tend to be incredibly dull, were somehow more lively. The "Afternoon With Bob Moog" was delightful, the "Pioneers of Electronic Music" session was jam-packed and fascinating, and the lecture showed as a sound film made in 1894 was a jaw dropper.
