ABSTRACT
The article presents report of iMoneyNet Inc. that tax-free money market funds had a net outflow of $712.1 million during the week ended Monday as their assets fell for the third consecutive week from $320.10 billion. Prior to the downturn, net inflow set new highs for assets for five consecutive weeks in November and early December, growing by $17.72 billion during that period. Taxable funds meanwhile gained $3 billion, as their assets grew to more than $1.59 trillion.
