ABSTRACT
The article presents news items related to bond market in the U.S. as of December 30, 2004. Existing home sales rose 2.7% in November to a record seasonally adjusted annual rate of 6.94 million units, the National Association of Realtors announced yesterday. The Treasury auctioned $24 billion of two-year notes with a 3% coupon at a 3.120% yield, a price of 99.769. Moody's Investors Service Inc. said it downgraded Chestnut Hill Hospital, Pennsylvania's bond rating to Baa3 from Baa2. The outlook remains negative at the lower rating level.
