ABSTRACT
This article presents information related to the legal profession. The Law Society last week called for more judges trained in family work when it gave evidence to the House of Commons Constitutional Affairs Committee. Law Society chief executive Janet Paraskeva said the welfare of a child must always be paramount. A new 3m pound charity, kills for Justice, was registered last week by the Charity Commission. It seeks to improve the way in which the law is administered by training and developing people who work in what it called "the justice sector." The charity will take over the work of the Police Skills and Standards Organization.
