ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Wisconsin center district board has announced that it had hired Milwaukee based Robert W. Baird & Co. Inc., to review an expansion of its sales and user taxes. District officials stressed that they were not proposing an expansion of taxes but instead want information on the amount of funds an expansion could generate for the agency that manages Milwaukee's convention center, arena, and theater. The board has been in discussions with the managers of the Bradley Center arena, where the Milwaukee Bucks basketball team plays, regarding a possible merger with the district.
