ABSTRACT
The article comments on the financial performance of bonds issued by various companies. It adds further that municipal bonds remained static, but the market had firm underlying tone due to specific buying interest. While a $222 million Massachusetts special obligation gas tax revenue offering rounded out major new issuance for the abbreviated holiday week. Treasuries crawled into positive territory in the second half of the session, providing support to the tax-exempt market, where some crossover accounts, trusts departments and insurance companies were looking for specific paper to fit their needs.
